I was browsing through another blog, Playground for Parents which I like a great deal and found a wonderful opportunity! You can volunteer and in exchange receive free tickets to a Disney Amusement Park. I am delighted by the spirit of the endeavor and instantly signed myself and my 7 year old Alana up.
I am so excited and thought I must pass this on to others! You can sign up for the Give a Day Get a Disney Day here. We will be volunteering at the Grow Involved on MLK Day with Children For Children there are many more spots available. I did notice that many of the opportunities were already full. Isn’t it fantastic that so many people are participating? But that just means you have got to get going to sign yourselves up!
You don’t have to go to Dinsey if you don’t want. You can volunteer and donate the cost of your voucher to a designated charitable organization. I like when companies give and I am grateful for this opportunity to give with my daughter. I believe this experience will be fun and will also demonstrate for her the power of giving.
