My best friend bought me a new toy, the Flip HDUltra! I take video of just about everything because I am so excited. The video camera is the simplest thing to use, I can carry it in my bag. It doesn’t take much room nor does it weigh a ton. It downloads video to my iMac super easy! Finally it is HD video. OMG! I am so happy with this thing.
Last Sunday, Alana had her very own lemonade stand. She made the lemonade herself from scratch with very little assistance from me. She decided to sell 12oz cups for $1.00 each. She purchased a stool that had a cooler in it for $1.00 from a sidewalk sale. It was a promotional item that someone won or got in exchange for ordering something. She sold out in about 1.5 hours. Not bad for a 7 year old. She wants to do it every weekend from now on. 
Check out the video I took. Pardon the editing. I am just getting the hang of being a movie director and editor. I play music the entire time due to the fluctuations in volume. It is very short and hopefully sweet.

Alana is a whoot and already has a sense of justice (she is donating some of her profits to benefit stray dogs) and a sense of wealth with the other (much larger portion) she is buying an American Girl Doll! She really likes the feel of cold hard cash in her hand and has hustle….
