I absolutely LOVE Ms. Mary J. Blige.
Her struggles have been pure inspiration and I have been healed by a great many of her songs.
This song in particular reminds me of the carity and no nonsense stand I take in my life.
Yeah sometimes I forget and then……..

I too am a Mary J. Blige fan. I’m not sure when it happened, but her struggle(s)/life is such an inspiration because she didn’t become one of the statics – tragic artist dying for no good reason. She had a hard life, it got even harder while success was strong, but she put a stop to all of the drama in her life. I’m glad she made the choice to step up to the plate, own her life, and not let herself be a victim of her childhood.
