I really don’t want to be a mommy blogger. I have always had this thing about going with the flow; I just don’t do it so readily. I like to blog and have been doing it for some time now even though you can’t see all the posts I lost from the past 3 years. (Yikes!!) But I am a mommy and I do blog.
I am so much more than just a mommy and have more than just nurturing in that way to offer and therefore, I will not join the growing ranks of mommy bloggers. I will be today and forever more, Adiaha a mother who happens to blog about more than just being a mother!

Who said you have to be a mommy blogger just because you happen to be a mom who blogs? Blog about what inspires you and don’t worry about the rest.
I became a Mom blogger out of necessity- at the time I knew not one single mother like me so I reached out using my blog to form my own support network (who have been incredible friends for years now). However I do have blogs that focus on my other interests and never even mention my Mommy side. I don’t think being a Mommy blogger is some horrible awful thing- but if its not your passion it simply isn’t. Do you and enjoy every moment, life is too short to do anything else!
I hear ya! I was just thinking about that this morning (while doing the kids’ laundry of all things). I was wondering if it was possible to straddle the line… not always talk about the kids or being a mom but not leaving it completely. After all, it’s probably the biggest part of who I am right now. Leaving it out would feel weird. But it’s not everything I am (or want to be) either. So I too am a blogger who happens to be a mom.
Personally i don’t think there is anything wrong with being a “mummy blogger” . I know that what i am and its what i like to read. Im just new here though and do look forward to reading more posts from you
